The Performance Calculator application is designed to be the ultimate tool for car enthusiasts, including tuners and racers. This powerful app allows you to calculate and measure the performance of your car or vehicle with precision.

Calculation

One of the key features of this app is its ability to perform detailed calculations based on vehicle data. You can estimate the impact of various modifications on your car's performance, such as increasing engine power and torque, reducing weight, changing gear ratios, or altering tire sizes. Simply fill in all the required fields, ensuring that gear ratios are input up to the highest existing gear. Once you've completed the data entry, navigate to the Results page and tap "Calculate" to see the estimated performance metrics.

Measurement

In addition to calculations, the app also offers a robust measurement feature. Utilizing the built-in acceleration sensor in your phone or tablet, the app measures the actual performance of your vehicle. This method ensures accurate readings even if there are issues with GPS satellite connectivity. To begin a measurement, first, position your device securely in your vehicle where it won't move during driving. Tap "Start" and then accelerate the car. The app will automatically start recording once the vehicle begins moving. If "Automatic stop" is enabled, the measurement will cease once the car stops accelerating.

Units and Data Management

The app supports both metric and imperial units, making it versatile for users around the world. You can save vehicle data for future reference, allowing you to easily compare performance metrics over time. Additionally, calibration of the measurement function is straightforward, ensuring the most accurate results possible.

Getting Started

To get started with the Performance Calculator, follow these simple steps:

• Calculation: Fill in all the empty cells, but only input gear ratios up to the highest existing gear. Then, head to the Results page and tap "Calculate."
• Measurement:
  1. Park your car and secure your phone or tablet in a stable position.
  2. Tap "Start" and begin accelerating.
  3. The recording will begin once the car starts moving. If "Automatic stop" is enabled, the measurement will end automatically when the car stops accelerating.
