Game Rules

The objective of Durak is straightforward—avoid being the last player with cards in hand. At the beginning of the game, each player receives six cards. The game proceeds through rounds where players attack and defend using these cards. If a player’s hand falls below six cards, they draw from the remaining deck (talon) until they have six again. Once the talon is empty, no further cards can be drawn, and the goal shifts to eliminating all cards from your hand. The final player holding cards becomes the "Durak" or the Fool.
