Overview

Infrared (IR) Control

This feature leverages the infrared (IR) capabilities of your smartphone or tablet. It works on devices equipped with an IR blaster, such as the HTC ONE series, Samsung Galaxy S3/S4/S5, Xiaomi Mi/Redmi/Note series, and Huawei Mate/Honor series.

To ensure optimal performance, make sure your phone's IR blaster is pointed directly at the TV. The typical effective range is between 4 to 10 feet (approximately 1 to 3 meters), with a maximum range of around 5 meters. However, it's important to note that the IR blaster may not function optimally if your device is in power-saving mode or if the battery is nearly depleted. In such cases, the range might be reduced to less than 5 feet (about 2 meters).

Usage and Support

This app is not intended to replace the original TV remote permanently but serves as a reliable backup solution. It is easy to use and does not require any pairing with the TV, making it immediately functional upon installation.
