The DigiShakti Mapper application has been meticulously crafted, supervised, and maintained by UPDESCO, a state-owned enterprise under the Government of Uttar Pradesh, India. This innovative tool serves as a pivotal platform designed specifically for educational institutions within Uttar Pradesh.

Purpose and Usage

The primary objective of this app is to facilitate the mapping of IMEI numbers of smartphones and tablets (devices) to students enrolled on the DigiShakti Portal. The initiative, known as the "Tablet and Smartphone Distribution Scheme 2021-22," aims at promoting digital empowerment among the youth studying in Uttar Pradesh during the academic session 2021-22.

How It Works

To effectively use the app, educational institutions must log in using credentials provided by authorized departments, agencies, or bodies designated by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. Once logged in, they can proceed to scan the barcode on the device box, which contains the IMEI number. Subsequently, they need to scan the QR code affixed to the student's slip, which is also pasted on the device by the institution. This streamlined process ensures accurate and secure tracking of devices.

Security Measures

For enhanced security, access to the app is restricted to authorized users only. No registration is required; instead, user logins are created and managed by designated authorities. This approach minimizes unauthorized access and ensures that only trusted individuals can utilize the app's functionalities.
