This app was created by a seasoned nurse with over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry. She had several pre-requisite courses to complete and started highlighting her notebook each time she completed a course, until the entire book was yellow. This is not it, there has to be a better way, she thought!

During her practice as a Registered Nurse, she saw how much student nurses struggled to stay in the A-game where exams (e.g. anatomy and physiology, microbiology, pathophysiology) and clinical projects were concerned. She wanted to make nursing students’ lives easier by creating quick access to materials and resources at the touch of a button on their smartphones. So, she created this app.

The Pre-RN Check Off app is tailored specifically for aspiring student nurses who want to get ahead. Whether you are just starting out or looking to advance your skills, the Pre-RN Check Off app has most of the things you need concerning organization, keeping track of immunizations, AI Chat feature for basic health-related questions, pre-requisite courses, upcoming quizzes/exams, nursing notes, hesi and teas sample questions, scholarship applications, and more.

Instructions for Use
Our app provides step-by-step instructions to help you get started on your journey to becoming a nurse. Once you have chosen your preferred school, you can proceed to confirm the completion of any necessary prerequisites, select your nursing specialization category within the app, and carry out other relevant actions.

Step 1: Decide on a nursing school if you haven’t done so.

Step 2: Next, check the nursing board website in your state to ensure that the school is legitimate and accredited. Time and money spent on classes that don't count toward your degree are a waste.

There are currently three routes to RN certification:

1) Licensed Vocational Nurse to Registered Nurse.

2) Associate Degree in Nursing to Registered Nurse.

3) Bachelor of Science in Nursing to Registered Nurse.

Step 4: The Pre-Nursing Check Off list can be used to verify the completion of prerequisites. Courses that are typically taken by nursing students before they are allowed to begin their careers are provided. If the course is not listed for your school, you can add it.
