Dif report

Dif report is a digital magazine that has embarked on a quest for a new world.
What do we envision, when we talk about a world without inequality, where everyone is included? What does a mended, healed planet look like?
Dif is actively proppelling 1000 frontrunners: the brightest, most mind-blowing solutions to the world’s problems, to connect them with artists, writers and photographers, and design an aspirational model of the world in 2030, where all of the Sustainable Development Goals 2030 will have been realized.
We invite brilliant thinkers, innovators, futurologists, inventors, scientists, entrepreneurs, designers, artists and impressionists to paint a picture of the world we would like to see in 2030.
In 2020 we will present a sketch of this world during a three-day event in Rotterdam, where we will build the future world to scale. Not carved in stone – many solutions that will achieve these goals have not even been invented yet – but as an aspirational model.
You can be part of the solution through the Dif Connect app. Anyone can contribute by sharing their thoughts, ideas and visions. By helping great ideas to come to reality. By volunteering, doing research, signing petitions, voting and sharing.
In this magazine, the Dif Report, we present what is already happening, and why we can be optimistic. Every issue presents solutions to one of the world’s problems, alongside reports on the state of the art in restorative fashion, sustainable travel, honest food and other lifestyle issues.
We are creating a community on its way to a better future. The event in 2020 will be a live gathering of world optimists, to give them the opportunity to experience the aspired future, meet the brilliant thinkers and artists that will get us there, and enjoy theatre, art, terrific music and the best food.
