It is helping devotees to seek day to day information at their finger tips
on Panchanga. It covers Festivals, Aradhane, Ekadashi, Tarpana,
Shubha/Ashubha alongwith daily details for performing sankalpa.
It is targeted for followers of Uttaradi Math and others to know about
today's Panchanga in a very handy way with all necessary and appropriate
details. It has Samvatsara, Ayana, Rutu, Masa, Masa Niyamaka, Paksha, Tithi,
Shradha tithi, Nakshatra, Yoga and Karna. These are the basic details
required doing sankalpa before starting any punya karma. It also highlights
below the day's special in the chosen language. User can change language
under settings.
Now it is available in 6 languages i.e, English, Sanskrit, Kannada, Telugu,
Tamil and Marathi. User can also view specific Menu items like important
Festivals, Aradhane of Madhwa Yatigalu, Ekadashi, Tarpana days,
Shubha/Ashubha details.
This version has a calendar view with number of tithi displayed on specific
calendar date. There are three different coloured dates highlighted in a
month. Two for Ekadashi(11), One for Pournima(15) and the other one for
Amavasya(30). User can navigate using calendar months and have quick and
broad view of the month. If required, more details can be seen on tap on
specific date.
Search works in English for now. It is global search based on data entered
in English only. Enter the text and tap done to view the list of options.
There is Menu search also available in English only.
The sunrise and sunset timings are as mentioned in UM Panchanga.
