Individual devices such as power outlets and light bulbs can be controlled directly from the mySmarthome app. Monitoring devices, such as motion and door open detectors, can be viewed on the mySmarthome app. And Scenes, to control groups of power outlets and lights, can be run as well.

The Hauppauge mySmarthome system includes a free cloud service which can send e-mail alerts. Receive email notifications of important events, like when a door is open, or motion is detected.
