The Dubai Sugar Conference, the pre-eminent event of the global sugar industry, is ready for its next chapter. After four hugely successful years, The Dubai Sugar Conference 2020 will be held at the InterContinental Dubai Festival City, from Sunday, February 9th to Wednesday, February 12th, 2020.

The Conference will once again be hosted by Jamal Al Ghurair, Managing Director and Principal Shareholder of Al Khaleej Sugar and Jacob Robbins, Founder and CEO of Emeterra.

Besides being the giant in the world of sugar and ethanol production, São Paulo is recognized as the largest economic and industrial centre of the Southern Hemisphere, with the state accounting for a third of Brazil’s Gross Domestic Product – greater than entire economies of several counties. With one of the key themes of this year’s Conference being “innovation emerging from within the sugar industry to address some of its major issues”, it is pertinent that Governor Doria will be addressing us on the subject of “Sugar Innovation – Thinking Out of the Box”.
