The Trade Exchange

The Trade Exchange (aka “T-Rex”) is an on-demand labor network for the construction and remodelling industry. The app instantly notifies local workers and subs when contractors and design-builders need help, saving time and money.

WHY WE BUILT T-REX?
We built T-Rex so small-to-medium sized contractors can find qualified help without spending money on recruiters or paying to post job ads. We also built it so workers and subs can find good projects and jobs without having to search or pay for leads.

WHO CAN JOIN T-REX?
T-Rex is a private labor network for construction and remodelling pros only and membership is not open to homeowners. To join you must be a qualified contractor, sub, tradesman, builder or designer with the appropriate licenses or certifications to operate in your region.

HOW DOES T-REX WORK?
If you're a contractor, builder or designer looking for help, you can post a project or job in minutes. All you need to do to is select the trade-type and location, add a few details and press 'Send'. The app then instantly notifies all of the local workers and subs that match your job or project. You'll be alerted when someone replies and can then view their T-Rex profile and contact them if they're a fit. If you're a tradesman or sub looking for work, the T-Rex app instantly notifies you when a new project or job is posted that matches your profile. If you're interested, simply tap "Reply" and the job poster is alerted. You don't need to search for work, pay for leads or post any ads. All you need to do is create your work profile and the app does all the work.

PROFILES & PORTFOLIOS
Every member on T-Rex has their own dedicated work profile, which includes detailed information about their experience and skills. Your profile is a pro snapshot and mobile resume that helps build credibility among T-Rex members, which is especially valuable when you work with someone new for the first time.

PRO ENDORSEMENTS
The best part about the network is that members vouch for each other's skills and reputation using our Pro Endorsement feature. This allows you to quickly vet other contractors, workers and subs based on the personal referrals of other pros. The network takes the "recruiter"out of the recruitment process.
