The term “thug life” made popular by late 90’s hip hop artist Tupac Shakur, has been linked to living a certain kind of lifestyle that involves struggle, apathy and a host of other hardship related situations. But recently, the term has reemerged as a pop culture theme that pokes fun at people and things that are clearly none thuggish.

The characters in the videos are none threatening but their responses are what is being categorized as thug life because they just don’t care.
