This guide is written by Bill Chen over the course of his 1-year stay in Beijing. It is not a yellow pages type directory listing but vivid accounts of his personal visits and experiences. Bill Chen from Hong Kong, is a writer and seasoned traveller in Asia. The contents of this application will continue to be updated periodically after they are being processed.

• Useful Stuff - mini maps in zoom-capable PDF format of specific locations and subway map. Many other useful tips for transportation and lodging, etc.
• Itinerary Suggestions – writer’s suggestions on durations and schedules for each district and some very special locations (e.g. the Forbidden City).

★ About Bill Chen ★

Bill Chen, husband of Kary, is a writer and seasoned traveler.
Unlike many other travellers, Bill Chen is very thorough. He likes to discover and unearth every fibre of a city; until he finds every worthy spot.

Indeed, Bill spent a lot more time during his travels, but he loved every minute of it. In the last 10 over years, Bill has been documenting his travels and sharing his experiences with his friends and readers. One day in 2009, while enjoying his piping hot Ramen at a road side stall in Ikebukuro, Tokyo and playing with his beloved iPhone, it suddenly dawned on Bill, “why don’t I upload all my years of travelling experiences onto iPhone. That way, my friends and readers can get rid of the thick travel guide!”

After numerous setbacks, the first Bill’s Travel Digest App was launched in 2010. Apart from Bill Chen’s experiences, we have made use of the smart phone technology to bring you even more practical conveniences.

However, Bill Chen believes that traveling is very personal and it belongs to each individual and their companion. This app will not have computer programming type planning that is rigid and unimaginative. Bill hopes to bring you a guide that would save you time and bring you joy during your travel.
