The International Patient Center consists of specialized departments (call center – back office – claims dpt) while our Medical Call Center is available 24/7 throughout the year.
Prior to patient’s visit, CrossBorderMedCare:
• Schedules patient’s appointments to one of the Diagnostic Centers or introduces the patient to one of the Group’s Clinics.
• Coordinates the patient’s transport to the Group’s network
• Ensures, if required, the patient escort or escorts accommodation either at the Clinic or at a Hotel
• Informs the patient, if requested, about the estimated treatment cost

During the patient’s hospitalization, CrossBorderMedCare:
• Undertakes the bureaucratic procedure in cooperation with the Clinic’s administration office, in order to facilitate the patient’s administration to the respective Clinic.
• Safeguards seamless communication, ensuring the presence of an interpreter, if necessary
• Informs with medical reports the various third parties (insurance companies, assistance companies, insurance institutions) that might be involved in the incidents final coverage
• Sends all necessary documents in order to issue guarantee of payment for the hospitalization’s cost coverage
• Is in contact with Consular Authorities, informing them on the progress of patient’s condition
After the patient’s discharge from the Clinic, CrossBorderMedCare:
• Ensures that the patient receives copies of medical reports and medical records
• Facilitates the patient regarding drugs prescription while supplying patient with those, if requested
• Starts the planning process for patient’s re-examination, if needed
• Arranges the patient’s transportation either by taxi, ambulance or med car
