Varaždinska Biblija

The application is intended for all diligent students of the Bible who will not only be satisfied to read it, but will at the same time have a need to highlight, bookmark or comment on a particular verse or passage of Scripture. This makes the application surpass the existing biblical programs on operating systems for mobile devices and makes it stand alongside commercial solutions on PCs.

It is possible to run and search the Bible and personal notes, which will appreciate all those who have wished to quote the Bible in their public lectures or written publications.

This application is based on two biblical translations: in the Croatian language it is the Varazdin Bible, published by the Croatian Bible Publisher (www.hbn.hr), and in English it is the King James Bible (King James Version). The Old Testament quotes are indicated by italic letters and the words of Jesus are printed in red.

Aplikacija je namijenjena svim marljivim proučavateljima Biblije koji se neće zadovoljiti samo time da je čitaju, nego će pri tom imati potrebu zabilježiti, označiti ili prokomentirati određeni stih ili odlomak Svetoga pisma. Time ova aplikacija svojim mogućnostima nadilazi postojeće biblijske programe na operativnim sustavima za mobilne uređaje i staje uz bok komercijalnim rješenjima na osobnim računalima.

Moguće je izvoditi i pretraživanje Biblije i osobnih zabilježaka, što će znati cijeniti svi oni koji su Bibliju poželjeli citirati u svojim javnim izlaganjima ili pisanim uradcima.

Ova aplikacija temelji se na dva biblijska prijevoda: na hrvatskom jeziku to je Varaždinska Biblija, u izdanju Hrvatskog biblijskog nakladnika (www.hbn.hr), a na engleskom jeziku to je Biblija kralja Jakova (King James Version). Starozavjetni citati naznačeni su ukošenim slovima, a Isusove riječi ispisane su crvenom bojom.
