Powerful Puppets comes with several political puppets and backgrounds already loaded into the Prop Closet, but those are just the beginning.

There are no "in-app purchases" to worry about. You can make your own puppets with ease out of cartoon characters, political figures, your friends, your family, and any other person or thing you have in a photo. So you won't have to pay for the content you need to use Powerful Puppets. (If we receive positive feedback, we may produce some puppet packs to load into the app, but they will be made available for free.)

PARENTS: At this time, the Web view is set to use Google Safe Search. The view adopts you parental restriction settings from Safari and there is no direct way to enter a different web address in the view. However, be advised that access to the Web and search results can lead to viewing objectionable content. This access is the basis for the 17+ rating. Parental guidance is recommended.

You have the power to create your own puppets from any image on your phone. You can download your pictures from the web, save them to your photo library, and edit out the background to make puppets from the latest social media post or news story.

The stage view allows you to record your puppets show and provide voice over; speak the lines and move the puppets, then save or share the video with friends.

You can also drop the video directly into iMovie using your iPhone's native share features, string video clips together, trim the unwanted footage, provide transitions, and create your magnum opus right there in the palm of your hand.

The editing feature, provided by Tiny Crayon, allows you to remove the background of any compatible image and save the result to your Prop Closet.

The app requires your permission to record video, save the video to your library, select images from your library to edit, and to save images to the library. Depending on the settings on your smartphone, you may need to provide permission to the app four separate times, and you may need to revisit the permission request after updates to your system or the app.

The developer welcomes comments from users regarding usability, stability, requested features, and issues with the functionality or the use of the app by children and younger teens.

The application was originally conceived as a device for making fan fiction (in particular, "Dramione" videos), which was requested by the developer's children. The developer hopes that the app will provide hours of wholesome fun, and welcomes any comments regarding the suitability for children and younger teens. Specific and constructive requests for improvements or changes may be incorporated into future versions of the app.
