Show App Store Download Links
Show an App Store or Android market download button on the Pgyer download page to guide users to the official release channel.
Pgyer lets you display an app store download link on the download page, so that once beta testing is over you can funnel visitors on the Pgyer short URL to the official release channel.
When to Use
- Beta testing has ended and the app is live — visitors to the pgyer.com short URL can jump to the Android store or the iOS App Store for the official build.
- Steer testers who still visit old links to the latest production build on the app store.
Prerequisites
- iOS: the app's Apple App Store URL.
- Android: the app's download page URL on the target market (Huawei, Xiaomi, Tencent MyApp, etc.).
Steps
- Go to App Management, select the app, then Settings → App Store Link Settings (labeled App Store Link Settings for iOS apps).
- Enter the platform URL in App Store Link.
- Set Show app store link on download page to Show.
Once saved, a store download button appears on the download page; tapping it sends users to the URL you entered.
