Pgyer's download pricing rules: free web-page downloads, the install API quota, per-download pricing, and size-based pricing for large installers.
Pgyer charges differently depending on how an app is downloaded. The rules below are in effect; see Pricing Overview for other charges.

An install API request counts once after validation, when it enters the flow that generates a download link or installation redirect. The free quota is used first; counting does not wait for the file download to finish. Checking for a version update alone does not use this quota. The free quota applies regardless of app size.
Pricing After the Free Quota
After the install API’s daily quota of 200 uses is exhausted, pricing depends on the installer size (MB means 1024 × 1024 bytes on this page):

Large Installer Surcharge
After the daily free quota is used, installers larger than 500 MB are charged only for the portion over 500 MB:
- ¥0.05 per 100 MB beyond the 500 MB threshold;
- Rounded up to the next 100 MB.
Worked Example
For a 650 MB app, the cost of one download after the daily free quota is used is:
- Size over the threshold: 650 - 500 = 150 MB;
- Round up to 200 MB;
- Download cost: 200 ÷ 100 × 0.05 = ¥0.10, with no additional ¥0.03 base fee.
Notes
- The daily free quota uses server time and resets at midnight.
- An install API request counts after validation when it enters the download-link or installation-redirect flow, even if the subsequent file download is not completed. Requests that fail validation and do not enter this flow do not count as install downloads.
- After the install API’s free quota is used, charges are deducted from the account balance at the counting stage described above. Top up via Account Top-up.
- Update checks that redirect users to the app short URL for a web download are not charged the API fee.
- When the balance runs out, paid downloads fail; free downloads keep working.
