How do I install an app uploaded by a developer?

There are currently two ways to install applications, and users can choose either:

  1. Download address Installation: In the browser, enter or open the download address of the application to enter the application installation page, click the "Click install" button to automatically download.
  2. Scan the QR code for installation: Use your mobile phone to scan the QR code to open the download page of the app, and click the "Click Install" button to download it automatically.

Do I need to install the App through third-party platforms such as App Store, Google Play, 360 Marketplace, etc.?

No need. Through PGYER's app page, users can download and install apps directly on their phones in one step, without going through any third-party platforms.

Do I need to use a data cable to connect my phone to my computer and install assistant software such as iTunes and App Store when installing apps?

No need. Through PGYER's application page, users can download and install applications directly on the phone, without the need to use a data cable to connect the phone to the computer, let alone do anything on the computer.

Why cannot I install the application?

For iOS type apps:

  1. If the beta version or Adhoc version is displayed on the App download page, the installation package is packaged in Ad-hoc mode. You need to ask the developer to add the UDID of the iOS device on which the app is installed to the mobileprovision file of the app before installing it on the device. Can use the PGYER provide iOS device UDID get function to get the device UDID.
  2. If the enterprise version is displayed on the download page of the App, then the app is packaged In the In-house mode of the Apple enterprise account, the developer needs to check whether the In-house certificate used In the packaging has expired or been revoked, etc. If the certificate has expired or been revoked, it cannot be installed.
  3. If the App you want to install already exists on your phone, delete the old App and reinstall the new App.
  4. Check the network connection of your mobile phone. Users need to make sure their phone is connected to the Internet, or try another network.
  5. Please restart the phone and reinstall it.

For Android type apps:

  1. When installing the application, if the mobile phone prompts "cannot install the application from unknown sources", then just enter the Settings function of the mobile phone and open the application installation function of "unknown sources". please click here to view the picture and text tutorial.
  2. If the mobile phone prompts that the application cannot be downloaded or the network is incorrect, please check the network connected to the mobile phone. The user needs to confirm that the mobile phone can access the Internet, or try another network.

Why can't I install the App in wechat, Alipay, Doudou and other apps?

The reason for this is generally due to the restrictions of wechat, Alipay, Dingpin and other apps, which currently do not support direct installation of applications. The solution is: the user can click the "More (or three dots)" button in the upper right corner of the App, and then click the "Open in Browser" button, and then the normal normal installation can be performed in the browser.

Why do I download an App instead of another app?

Due to the problems of the domestic mobile phone environment, this situation is generally more common on Android. In general, when downloading the App, when the system pops up the options of safe download, high-speed download, ordinary download, etc., please do not choose high-speed download or safe download, but should directly choose ordinary download or local download.

If you choose local download and still download other applications, it may be caused by DNS hijacking on the network. It is recommended to change the network, such as disconnecting the Wi-fi and replacing it with cellular data.

Why is my app waiting when I download it with data?

If you download using cellular data network traffic, the application may fail to download and install and appear as waiting. This is because according to the limitations of the iOS system, when using the cellular data network traffic to download the App, the app cannot be downloaded more than 150M, so the app status will be displayed as waiting. At this point, the user only needs to connect the device to the Internet via Wi-Fi, and the App will automatically start downloading and installing.

In addition, if you insist on using traffic to download more than 150M applications, we provide the following ways for your reference:

  1. For systems with iOS11 or above, download the application normally. When the status of the application is displayed as waiting, enter the System Settings - General - Time and Date, and the automatic setting will be turned off. Manually set the time to one year later, return to the desktop, click the waiting application, and wait for a moment to automatically start downloading.
  2. For systems under iOS11, download the app normally. When the status of the app is displayed as waiting, set the phone to airplane mode, restart the phone, close airplane mode, and the app can be downloaded and installed.
