Which Apps Need to Provide Qualifications

The entity name on the qualification certificate must match the uploaded app's information. For example, the copyright holder on the Computer Software Copyright Registration Certificate must match the developer name; if a third party operates the app under license, an app-copyright authorization letter is required. The ICP filing's sponsor name, filing number, and website name must match the MIIT filing-management system.
Common Certificate Examples
Business License
A business license is the credential issued by the industry-and-commerce authority to enterprises and individual operators, permitting them to operate. Its format is uniformly prescribed by the State Administration for Market Regulation.
Software Copyright
Computer software copyright is the exclusive right enjoyed by software developers or other rights holders under copyright law. The certificate comes in three main forms: Computer Software Copyright Registration Certificate, APP Electronic Copyright Authentication Certificate, and Software Copyright Authentication Certificate.

ICP License
The People's Republic of China Telecommunications and Information Service Business Operating License (ICP License) is applied for by operators of commercial websites at the local district/county level.
Online Cultural Operating License
Internet cultural activities are divided into commercial and non-commercial types. Commercial activities are those conducted for profit — providing internet cultural products and services and earning revenue through user fees, e-commerce, advertising, sponsorships, and similar channels.
Internet News Information Service License
Per the Provisions on the Administration of Internet News Information Services, providing internet news information services to the public via websites, applications, forums, blogs, public accounts, instant messaging tools, livestreaming, and similar channels requires this license.
Game Publication Filing
The game publication filing is the abbreviation for the game-publishing approval issued by the National Press and Publication Administration (formerly under the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television).
Financial License
The Financial License is the legal document issued by the China Banking Regulatory Commission permitting authorized financial institutions to conduct financial business; it applies to financial institutions under CBRC supervision.
Overseas companies that cannot apply for software copyright may have a Chinese operating-agency company provide proof of overseas-region ownership and qualifications, or apply for software copyright with the Chinese operating company as the filing entity.
