Common Triggers

  1. The package name is randomly generated, or resembles (or matches) a deprecated package name or the package name of a published app that has been reported multiple times;
  2. The APK isn't signed with a dedicated certificate (use a separate Android signing certificate per app);
  3. The app has been reported by multiple users;
  4. The app isn't listed on mainstream Android stores, but is similar to an app that is;
  5. The download URL itself is flagged as risky;
  6. The app name involves prohibited content or infringes on a well-known brand, trademark, or IP.
