How to Install an App
The overall flow for installing a beta build distributed through Pgyer, plus an index of platform-specific steps and common installation issues.
Pgyer provides one-stop distribution and installation for beta builds. This page walks you through getting the installation entry point from a developer, opening the install page, and completing the install, along with pointers to the detailed steps for each platform.
Get the Install Link or QR Code
The developer usually shares the installation entry point in one of these ways:
- An installation link in an email or instant message;
- A QR code you can scan with your phone;
- A URL you can open directly in a browser.
Open the Install Page
Once you open the link or scan the QR code, you land on the app's install page, which shows the app name, version number, release notes, and so on.
Download and Install
Tap the Install button on the install page and follow the on-screen prompts. Refer to the platform-specific steps below:
