Distribution Channels
Generate different short URLs for the same app so you can attribute downloads to each source.
Channels create source-specific short URLs for the current app and control which builds each source can download. Select the app and choose Channels in the top navigation.
Channel List
The list shows channel name, update method, latest build, download address, and updated time. You can copy or open the URL, edit the channel, inspect its key, or delete it. Open the editor to inspect every included build and its order.
Create or Edit a Channel
Configurable fields when creating or editing a channel:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Channel name | Distinguishes sources; shown only in the dashboard |
| Channel download URL | A custom short URL for external distribution; it must pass validation and be unique |
| Available builds | Select multiple builds and drag to reorder them; the first one is the channel default |
| New-build rule | Automatically add future builds, or keep only the builds selected now |
Use Channel Data
After distributing a different URL to each source, select a channel in App Download Statistics, then filter by date or version.
Deleting a channel retires its source-specific URL and key for future distribution. Replace the old URL in external pages, QR codes, and campaign assets first.
