UDID Management

Collect, filter, export, and maintain iOS test-device UDIDs from Dashboard V2 by invitation or manual entry.

The UDID tool in Dashboard V2 maintains devices used for iOS beta testing. Open Tools → UDID in the sidebar to view the invitation entry and device list.

Collect Through Safari

  1. Open Tools → UDID;
  2. Send the invitation QR code or link to the tester;
  3. The tester opens it in Safari on the iPhone or iPad and follows the system prompts to install the profile;
  4. The device appears in the UDID list after collection completes.

For a user who only needs to view their own identifier, see Finding an iOS Device UDID.

Add Manually

Choose Add UDID, enter the device model, UDID, device type, and optional device name, then save. The field accepts the traditional 40-character hexadecimal UDID and the newer device format accepted by the page validation.

For a record collected through a profile, the UDID and device type cannot be edited. Verify manually entered identifiers with the device owner; an incorrect UDID still prevents installation after the app is re-signed.

Filter, Export, and Maintain

  • Filter by device type and source, including profile collection and manual entry;
  • Choose Export to download the currently available device data;
  • Edit or delete a device from its action menu;
  • Deleting a record only removes it from Pgyer's UDID list. It does not remove the device from Apple Developer or an existing provisioning profile.

To include a newly added device in an Ad Hoc installer, register it with Apple Developer, update the provisioning profile, sign the app again, and upload a new build.
