App Migration and Migration Center
Safely request, approve, and verify an app transfer to another account in Dashboard V2.
For one app, open Settings → Migrate App. Use Migration Center in the account menu to review all outgoing and incoming requests.
Request a Migration
- Open Settings → Migrate App for the app;
- Enter and validate the target account's registered email or phone number. When platform security verification is enabled, a human-verification challenge appears before this check;
- Review the migration scope and preflight results;
- Request and enter the current owner's six-digit verification code to confirm that the source account approves the transfer;
- Enter the app's exact name to confirm and submit.
Migration never requires the target account's password or verification code. A request for the recipient's login credentials is not part of the normal flow.
Target-Account Approval
The target account signs in, opens Migration Center, and accepts or rejects the request. A request is normally valid for seven days; before acceptance, the source account can cancel it. Use the expiration time shown in Migration Center as the source of truth.
Effects of Migration
After acceptance, the app and all of its builds, statistics, channels, and settings move to the target account. Also note:
- Existing app-member relationships from the source account are removed;
- Webhooks are disabled and must be reviewed and re-enabled by the target account;
- Acceptance is not reversible; moving the app again requires a new migration request.
After completion, both parties should verify ownership, builds, install URLs, channels, members, Webhooks, and download permissions.
