Ask AI
Entry point, supported scope, confirmation model, and safety boundaries for Ask AI in Dashboard V2.
When enabled for the account and environment, Ask AI appears in the Dashboard V2 top bar and opens a panel also titled Ask AI. It uses the current app context to answer questions, locate information, diagnose configuration, or draft a supported action.
Ask AI is the developer assistant in Dashboard V2. It is separate from the customer-facing Agent Assistant configured under Install Page → Agent Assistant.
What It Can Do
- Read basic information, builds, channels, statistics, and selected settings for the current app;
- Explain page state and suggest troubleshooting steps;
- Draft supported changes from natural-language instructions;
- Use attachments and conversation history;
- Accept feedback about an answer.
Confirmation Before Changes
Write operations should display a preview before an authorized user explicitly confirms them. Check the target app, field, old value, and new value. If permissions or page state changed after preview, review the action again before execution.
Safety Boundaries
Ask AI is not an unrestricted server shell. It does not perform arbitrary database operations, payments, security-credential changes, or unsupported destructive actions. Do not enter passwords, SMS verification codes, private keys, or other sensitive credentials in the conversation.
Tools available to Ask AI vary with account, platform, and current app state. Complete or verify important publishing, download-permission, migration, and deletion actions on their corresponding pages.
